After surviving cardiac arrest and later facing the challenges of job loss, I decided it was time to build something lasting for my family and community. At the same time, our family was dealing with the impact of our son's Type 1 diabetes diagnosis — a reminder that life is unpredictable and precious. Rather than dwell on setbacks, we channeled those experiences into building a company rooted in hard work, integrity, and service.
